Jason Shaw Endorsed By Georgia’s Small Businesses
The National Federation of Independent Business, Georgia’s leading small business association, has endorsed Jason Shaw in the 176th District House race.
The endorsement was made by NFIB/Georgia SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise) Trust, which is comprised exclusively of NFIB members. The general election will be Tuesday, Nov. 2.
“Our members support the candidates who support small business,” said David Raynor, state director of NFIB/Georgia. “Jason Shaw is a small business owner himself and a member of NFIB/Georgia, and he understands that we need a General Assembly that’s going to help entrepreneurs and small, family businesses grow and create jobs and lead Georgia out of this recession.”
Shaw said, “I’m honored to have NFIB’s support in this election. I own my own business, and I believe small, family businesses are the heart and soul of Georgia’s economy. I promise I’ll do everything I can to keep our small business community healthy and strong. Small businesses are Georgia’s true job creators, so when you help small businesses, you help everyone.”
Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB has pledged it will activate its grassroots network on behalf of these candidates. NFIB’s political support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on small business issues.
